A Few Articles I Liked in July

Articles July 2015

What’s up, guys? I have not done this in a while, but that doesn’t mean I have stopped reading awesome articles and blog posts. Here’s a smaller-than-usual, but nonetheless quality, thought-provoking reads I’ve gathered this month. Without a further due, let’s get right into them:

Daily Mail – “China cracks down on its sex partying, Ferrari-driving, money-burning ‘fuerdai’ second generation of super-rich, shallow and very spoiled brats”

Whew, what a mouthful! Read about the good, the bad, and the ugly of China’s insanely rich “Fuerdai,” or “Second Rich Generation.” Well, actually just the bad and the ugly…

Thought Catalog – “We Went To 20 Cities In 10 Countries, And Here Are 7 Things We Learned About Travel”

Think you have what it takes to backpack across Europe? Hint: it doesn’t come with room service or air conditioned rooms.

Buzzfeed – “I Wasn’t Beautiful Enough To Live In South Korea”

The brutal reality of Korean beauty standards, as told by the part-Korean writer of Buzzfeed. “In Korea, [inner beauty] didn’t seem to exist,”  states the writer. You’re either “this” or nothing.

**BONUS** While you’re at it, check out this playlist I created to set the tone for the summer. You’ll either feel like you’re on a yacht, a beach, at a nightclub, or a bbq. Or just chilling at home, that’s cool too.
